FOSTER

Fostering a dog saves a life. When you foster, you provide a warm and loving environment with a family much like the one the dog will eventually find as its forever home. Often, the only things these dogs have experienced in life is neglect, abuse, or abandonment. Your generosity in sharing your home will transform this dog’s personality and prepare it for adoption. The value of this experience cannot be overstated.

 

Perhaps the MOST IMPORTANT benefit is that you are freeing up spaces at what is likely an overcrowded shelter or rescue! This means that the death row kennel this dog was occupying is now an open space for another dog to have a chance at being saved. This is one way we can help to LOWER EUTHANASIA RATES.

 

TRANSPORT

Transport is often needed to get a dog to the vet. It is also a necessary part of getting many dogs to the next step in their journey to their forever home. Many dogs are placed in loving homes out of state and transport is a necessity to make these happily ever after beginnings possible. 

 

EVENT VOLUNTEERING

Fundraisers are a necessary part of our existence. Not only does it help with providing funds for continued operation, but it is an opportunity to get out in the community and educate the public on the problems that lead to killing in shelters. It is also an opportunity to get some of our babies out and visible for adoption opportunities.
