Callie
Callie was rescued from a hoarding situation in Bastrop, Louisiana. She was VERY pregnant and heartworm positive when she arrived. She gave birth to nine babies, of which 8 survived. All eight babies have been adopted and are in loving homes. Callie has been spayed and completed treatment for heartworms. She is a sweet little girl at about 45 pounds. She plays very well with other dogs but does has a strong prey instinct with cats. She is somewhat shy with men due to past abuse but very much wants to attach to her own humans and learn to completely trust in her new home. Guess at breed is a basset hound/cur mix.
Titan
Titan is ready for his furever home. He is a big sweetheart who loves to play. He was found running down the highway in Broussard, LA. Since his owners did not come forward and it was obvious he had not been properly vetted, we decided to take him in. He has now been neutered and begun heartworm treatment. He is ready to go to a foster to adopt home where he can complete his treatment.
